English: Gur Pitha-Gur Pitha is a food generally made in Santhal Community. It is made of powdered rice and jaggery(Gur). It is generally made in bulk because it doesn't get rancid easily. If properly stored it could stay fresh up to a month. |

These food are generally made by Santhal community in Sakrat (Harvest Festival of Santhals). Since rice is harvested during that time, major ingredient used in making these food item is rice (generally in powdered form called 'Holong').
